Berlin Intermediate School Reviews
Quality Score: 5 Post Date:2009-09-01
“I had 3 daughters at BIS last year, and this year one went on to middle school but the other 2 are still there. It is a well organized, great school! Most teachers check email daily, and I loved being able to keep in touch that way. My girls love going there. The only issue I had was with a required book in 6th grade that I didn't think was appropriate (titled: Wait til Helen comes). It has mature themes of death, murder, ghosts, etc. But teachers have been good about reassigning another book for my daughter(s). Overall, a super school.” This review was posted by a parent.

“It is a great school. Teachers, Principal, Asst Principals, entire staff!! Always have time to talk to parents. Love the small class sizes.” This review was posted by a parent.

“My son attended fifth grade here and had a wonderful experience. The curriculum was advanced enough to keep him striving and learning. Ms. Potetz and the art teacher are fabulous!” This review was posted by a parent.

“My son is in the 5th grade a Berlin Intermediate School. This is his first year there and so far has had a very positive experience there. The teachers are friendly and very helpful as are the office staff. The principal, Dr. Gaddis, is also a wonderful person and has only your child's best interest at heart. I was a little worried about my son attending BIS but was also glad that Dr. Gaddis is the principal (he was at Buckingham Elementary when my son started Pre-K). My son is very happy to be there.” This review was posted by a parent.
